History

This corn is from the 1800's. It was originally used to feed people right off the stalk, when you know how to pick it just right by putting your finger nail in it and the milk is nice and white. That's when you knew it was ready to eat. Also, after letting it dry on the stalk and harden, it was used for grain alcohol and tinctures. It was also granulated down to a corn meal and a corn flour for cooking. This is an all-around use corn from the 1800's that has never been treated. It grows well over 8 feet or 9 feet tall and sometimes has been known to get 4 ears per stalk, which is simply outstanding. So, this corn is your all- around general purpose corn, untreated, and can be replanted. Quantities are extremely limited.
